Designed in partnership with Australia's most accomplished female mountaineer Allie Pepper, who is currently attempting to be the first woman to climb all 14 of the world's 8000m mountains to their true summits, without supplemental oxygen. The Alpine AP 50 is the ultimate mountaineering pack.

Weighing just 980 grams but still highly durable, this is a pack you can trust on any terrain. It is made from waterproof materials with fully taped seams, making it completely weatherproof.

The pack's body is made from UHMWPE - Ultra 200 X (White) or Dyneema Composite Fabric (Blue), which is 15 times stronger than steel. It's lightweight, abrasion/tear-resistant, waterproof, and UV-resistant.

We've selected the best materials to provide ultralight performance with durability. The Alpine AP 50 also features an "unbreakable" alloy hip belt buckle that won't become brittle in the cold, or jam up with ice.

Perfect for both the highest mountain peaks and general hiking, the Alpine AP 50 is the ultimate choice for any adventurer.

How to Measure Back Length:

Locate the top of your hipbone (pelvic crest) on the side of your body. (Note: the pelvic crest slopes down at the front – but we are interested in the location of the highest point of your pelvis).
Approximate the top of your hipbone in your lumbar region, on your spine. Wrap the tape measure horizontally from the top of your hipbone to the spine to confirm this position if required. Make a note of this location.
Locate your C7 vertebrae. This is the highest bony protrusion on the back of your neck and is roughly in line with where your trapezius meets your neck. Make a note of this location.
Measure the length between your C7 vertebrae and the location you found on your lumbar spine in step 2.
